Leica, a world-level camera manufacturer, entered the crowded smartphone segment with the launch of its first handset Leitz Phone 1, which has a large camera sensor on the smartphone.
The phone's big selling point is the camera that Leica excels at, and the Leitz Phone 1 has a 20-megapixel 1-inch sensor with 19mm focal length.

The first Leica smartphone, called the Phone Leitz 1, has been launched in Japan.
It costs JPY 187,920 (approximately Rp 24 million) and is listed on the SoftBank Website. The phone is available in one Leica Silver color option. The Leitz Phone 1 will go on sale in Japan sometime in July.
