The history of SAMSUNG which is now one of the giant electronics companies originated from South Korea.

The history of Samsung, a South Korean industry that describes one of the largest electronics manufacturers in the world. Samsung specializes in the creation of a wide range of consumer electronics as well as industries,

equipment, digital media devices, semiconductors, memory chips, and integrated systems.

This is one of the most well-known names in technology.

It makes up about a fifth of South Korea's total exports.

Samsung was founded as a grocery store on March 1, 1938, by Lee Byung-Chull.

Samsung started its business in Taegu, Korea, trading noodles and other goods made in and near the city and exporting them to China and its provinces.

After the Korean War, Lee increased his business into textiles and opened the largest wool mill in Korea. He focused heavily on industrialization with the aim of helping his country rebuild itself after the war.

During that period his business benefited from new protectionist policies adopted by the Korean government.

It aims to help large domestic conglomerates by protecting them from competition and sharing them with easy financing.

Throughout the 1970s, the industry expanded its textile manufacturing process.

According to samsung's founder, the meaning of the word Samsung () in Koreanhanja is "three stars". The word "three" represents something "big, numerous, and powerful", while "star" means durable, just like the stars in the sky.

The 2000s saw the birth of the Samsung Galaxy smartphone series, which soon not only became a highly praised and historical industrial product.

But it also often tops the annual list of best-selling smartphones in the world.

Since 2006, the industry has been the best-selling global tv producer. Starting in 2010, the Galaxy series expanded to tablet PCs with the introduction of the Galaxy Tab.

Now Samsung is one of the world's giant electronics companies from Korea that dominates technology on various fronts.
